Meet Endometriosis Experts at The GynoKid!

Confession: I love performing The GynoKid. Getting to tell stories about growing up as the child of a small-town gynecologist and nurse midwife brings me so much damn joy, I could burst.

With our monthly show at the Kraine Theater, I’ve gotten to add another element I love: learning vetted information from healthcare experts. As I speak about in the show, my parents always taught me and their patients that knowledge is power.

And this month, we’re learning about endometriosis. One of the most common gynecological diseases, endometriosis is also widely misdiagnosed and misunderstood. Luckily, we have three of NYC’s phenomenal endometriosis experts joining us after The GynoKid show this Friday to educate us about endo.

I chose this topic because I have many friends who were diagnosed in their late thirties, often after decades of debilitating period pain and other health issues. So I’m truly excited to learn from our experts this Friday.
