Merch Alert: Limited T-Shirt Run & New Stickers!
As y’all may know, I run the Empire Waist merch store — and have been having TOO much fun doing so.
After using Print on Demand for our initial launch, I switched to ordering from small businesses for our stickers and t-shirts to bring overall costs down for customers—and all will be packaged up and shipped by yours truly.
Stickers now ship free and include two fun postcards! And we have to new designs to add to the mix:
For t-shirts, we are now working with Coast to Coast Screen Printing — the same screen printing company near Syracuse who designed our cast and crew t-shirts. Fun fact: It’s run by one of our crew members’ parents!

I had the best time screening Empire Waist and talking to students, faculty, and staff at the New York Film Academy and Wellesley College last weekend. Reconnecting with the professors and staff who have been cheering me on every step of the way truly filled my soul right up. That’s the power of great educators.
My favorite part about teaching film students is sharing the information I wish I had known at the beginning of my journey — and how important it is to be kind to ourselves along the way.
I’m so proud of what I’ve achieved by bringing Empire Waist and our free curriculum to life, and if I can use those skills to support other filmmakers and creatives making their own dreams happen, all the better.
After all, community is everything.
